Our historic building

With extensive restoration and renovations completed in November 2016, the 1891 classic Victorian-era building Charlotte Jane is an immaculate and stunning heritage building. Exuding luxury and elegance, you are transported to a timeless era with high ceilings, grand staircase, plush furnishings and tiled fireplaces. It is the ideal setting for Christchurch’s top beauty spa and massage treatments.

Named after The Avenue des Champs-Élysées in Paris, well known for its beauty, cafes, luxury boutiques and annual Bastille Day parade, Champs-Elyseés Beauty Day Spa Christchurch holds true to the high standards of its origins. The name is also French for the Elysian Fields of mythology, a paradise for Greek heroes after a life of glory.

Truly a haven, fit for ancient demigods, undeniable in its sophistication, our building is one of the few heritage residences still left in Christchurch and serves as a rich reminder of our illustrious past. Painstakingly renovated while retaining the best of the 1891 residence’s original classic charm, to step through the doors is to experience both past and present at its finest.
